About Dena

Formed by Dr Brian Sulaiman, a renowned expert in the field of Nanometrics, the company has been trading 18 years, and has won several awards for National and Environmental Innovation.

Dena has a number of companies and associated companies operating in several countries worldwide. Our technology has been used by various companies, whose logos are shown. (top right)

The technology is being used in industries as diverse as food, pharmaceuticals, ceramics, inks, dyes, paints, cosmetics, electronics, detergents, water treatment, desalination and environmental.

New applications are being continuously requested and the flexibility of this unique system is able to accommodate these requests.

The DENA technology has won several British and European awards for industrial and environmental innovation.

What can we offer

Dena offers more than just technology, we offer:

  • Knowledge
  • Production line design
  • Full turnkey installations
  • Training to ISO and FDA standards

The Dena system was inspired by an observation of the natural forces of sea waves dispersing sand over a rocky beach.

This inspiration led Dr Sulaiman to devise the DENA reactor which uses a similar principle to the flow of material over a pre-defined path - resulting in the maximum amount of work with a minimum of energy input, to achieve processes such as:

  • Mixing
  • Shearing
  • Dispersing
  • Homogenising
  • Milling / Reducing
  • Polishing
  • Blending
  • Shattering
  • De-agglomerating
  • Finishing / Shaping
  • Reactions
  • Emulsifying
The closed system technology developed by DENA has advanced far beyond the conventional mixing and homogenising techniques, saving time, energy and supervision giving the very highest standards at dramatically reduced costs.

Benefits of Nanometrics

  • Well controlled and homogeneous blended product
  • shorter processing times
  • reduced running costs
  • Less square footage required for factory areas
  • reduced capital costs
  • increased product shelf life
  • reduced wastage
  • dust free processes
  • increased profitability
