WEEE DirectiveWEEE Directive

Dena developed a nanometric process intensification system to completely recycle most electronic appliances with profit in mind.  The Waste Electrical Equipment (WEEE) Directive came into force in January 2007 and aims to both reduce the amount pf WEEE being produced and encourage everyone to reuse, recycle and recover it.  The WEEE Directive aims to improve the environmental performance of the business that manufacture, supply, use, recycle and recover electrical and electronic equipment.

Examples of our technology are recycled waste from mobile phones, electrical equipment and fridges.

Over 5 million phones a year are now being dumped in the U.K. alone.  Dena has developed, using its unique nan-metric processing reactor, a method of completely recycling mobile phones and extracting the valuable components, such as precious metals, carbon black, pigments and other building materials.

This technique can be applied to all W.E.E.E. electrical goods especially the circuit boards and castings for fridges.
